Application for Funding Grants
Within the Framework Programme for the Promotion of Empirical Educational Research, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) provides funding for projects in thematically specified areas. The BMBF issues funding directives relative to these thematic priorities, which provide the background for submitting applications for research grants within certain time frames. These directives list the purpose, objective and requirements of the funding scheme as well as information regarding the application procedure including the closing date for submission of proposals (formless applications).
If you intend to apply for funding within the Framework Programme for the Promotion of Empirical Educational Research, please pay attention to the rules for application outlined in the directives. If you have any questions regarding proposals, please contact the 
project management agency, commissioned by the BMBF. In particular, scientists who are submitting a project proposal for the first time should refer to this counselling service.
